Literacy Modelling
A number of colleagues have asked to see models of 'light-touch' literacy being applied to different subjects. The two videos here show MHs explaining how to describe and explain in science - both are around the two-minute mark and show the modelling / success criteria element really clearly - do have a look and let TB know if you'd like to experiment with making similar vids for your subject.

Featuresof Successful Lessons
This document is a summary of some typical features of successful / less successful lessons, and reflects the Learning and Teaching policy. It's not definitive of course, but does seem to be a useful tool for reference when thinking about lesson design, before or after lessons have been taught.
